Jakub Kučera is a multifunctional person that primarily focuses on film direction, screenwriting and photography. As part of the Bachelor’s degree program, he directed five short films (The Handcuffs, Nothing Free, Home, 136, Two). He is currently working on the screenplay for his feature-length debutant film Drum and Smokebombs based on the short story of Czech writer Jiří Hájíček.
He educates himself in history, art, music, and actively develops his own SempullTampush introvert music project. He regularly takes part in short films as an assistant director to recall the hardness of the film industry; he also improves his karma with the creation of spots for the nonprofit organization for kids in need Linka bezpečí.
